Mastra Launches Partner Program to Build AI Agents
Mastra has launched a certified partner network to help enterprises deploy production-ready AI agents by connecting them with vetted development agencies.

Mastra, the AI agent framework led by founder and CEO Sam Bhagwat—who previously co-founded Gatsby and authored 'Principles of Building AI Agents'—has officially launched the Mastra Agency Program. This new initiative establishes a network of certified agencies and consultancies dedicated to building and deploying Mastra-powered AI agents for clients who want to implement agentic workflows but lack the necessary in-house technical expertise. Every participating agency in the program undergoes a rigorous vetting process by Mastra's Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team, ensuring they possess the hands-on experience required to build reliable, scalable AI agents.
The program debuts with five launch partners specializing in various industries and technical domains. Among them is Handpicked, a collective of 11 specialized digital and creative agencies across the Netherlands employing approximately 300 people across Rotterdam, Breda, Eindhoven, and Amsterdam. Another partner, Frontleap, provides AI order management specifically for SAP, connecting nine SAP modules to triple the output of sales associates. Young Security brings over 25 years of cybersecurity and infrastructure experience to the program, applying Zero Trust principles to design and operate secure production AI agents on Mastra.
The other launch partners include the Deerfield Group, which focuses on marketing, media, and technology for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and health tech companies, and Blue Drop Labs, a founder-led digital consulting firm that automates workflows and builds applications. Agencies admitted into the program receive a direct line of communication to Bhagwat and the core Mastra team, including Shane and Abhi. Partners also gain access to regular roadmap updates and have a direct voice in the future direction of the rapidly evolving platform.
For developers and enterprise practitioners, this program bridges the gap between prototyping and production. Instead of struggling with the complexities of scaling and monitoring AI agents internally, organizations can leverage vetted external teams who understand Mastra's architecture. This allows businesses to deploy secure, monitored, and highly specialized agentic systems—ranging from customer-facing assistants to multi-agent automations—without having to build an entire AI engineering department from scratch.
